What Are The Best Fashion Trends For Summer 2019?

Summer is here and it isn’t going away for a couple more months. Which means we have about a couple of months to try on new summer-themed clothes before autumn comes. After all, it wouldn’t be a proper summer if we don’t make an effort to look good as we all go on vacations, right?

The ideas I had in mind were inspired from a fashion trend too. Have a looksee!

Animal-patterns

Wearing animal-patterned clothes is all the rage this season. It’s how you know you’re really looking forward to summer if you’re feeling like you want to be a jungle cat or something. I don’t blame you. They’re really eye-catching and tend to make you stand out in the crowd. Which makes sense since summer is all about standing out and making a statement about yourself. Fashion sometimes isn’t about loud and bold statements but in this case, it definitely is. Try wearing those leopard-patterned jumpsuits or dresses for a start and go summer-themed clubs. It’s what celebrities are doing these days anyway.

Anything lavender

Whether you wear dressed or coats or pants, it doesn’t matter as long as they are lavender-toned. Some of the street-wear we see are going out of their way to be loud and vibrant, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t be softer this summer. Lavender isn’t as explosive as its brothers purple and violet. Which is why it’s sometimes a preferred colour by females. It’s a breezy shade too, perfect for summer where you just want to be one with the wind while soaking all that vitamin D under the blistering heat of the sun. And in my opinion, this colour would go superb for the ones with a lighter hair colour.

Going Goth

My personal favourite. Black, as we all know, is a supremely attractive colour, even though some of you may argue that black isn’t really a colour at all. The point is that being all dark and broody is sexy. So is leather. And maybe a black turtle-neck that hugs the figure too. And to commemorate the fact that this is a summer thing, wear the skimpier leather. What’s wrong with showing a few skin? You would be dying in the heat otherwise. Do you have any idea who much heat black generates? So of course we have to improvise. And then you get to do your make-up that goes along with the theme you’re going for too. Like darker shades of lipstick (I’m think either purple, black or a really deep red) and eyeshadow that represents the Egyptians’ kohl. Hey, if you’re going for wanting to stand out in this heat, at least make an effort to be dark and mysterious, right?

All in all, this year’s summer choices are interesting. Although it DOES make me wonder where the usual summer dresses and flip-flops went to.
